A fresh, innovative palette for fibre bonded
Introducing new and innovative colours in the fibre bonded collection from Burmatex.

Burmatex is a leading supplier of quality fibre-bonded carpet tiles and sheet, all made at their Yorkshire site. The design and production teams have combined fantastic, trend led new colours together with classic FB shades, creating a comprehensive and exciting collection that will suit all tastes and interiors.

Classic ranges such as Academy and Cordiale have been brought up-to-date, with 17 new colours in the broad-ribbed range and 16 new colours in the narrow ribbed range. innovative, design led structure bonded collections such as Lateral, Zip and Code have been invigorated with 5 directional new colours.

Burmatex analysed colour trends to create an offering that shows real cohesion and future thinking. New colours include hot pinks, indigos and purples, as well as fresh greens and aquas. Ranges can be used individually in the traditional way or combined to create distinctive, contemporary installations both with our FB/SB collections and also with many other Burmatex ranges.

“As always, we have been working closely with our clients and production team to offer some exciting new options for 2011. We previewed the new colours at 100% Design recently where they received a fantastic response. The products are also A+ rated by BRE, adding an additional and very important environmental benefit to the offering,” said Vivien Lee, Senior Designer at Burmatex.

“FB carpet tiles have gained wider appeal following the introduction of our Lateral, Zip and Code structure-bonded ranges, due to the variety of applications, design options, environmental benefits and excellent value they offer. The crossover of new colours in different textures adds a whole new dimension of fresh, design creativity and we’re working with corporate clients on some amazing new projects which, hitherto, would probably have been done in tufted tiles,” Vivien added.
The new colours are available now and form the second phase of products to be presented in re-branded shadecards since Burmatex unveiled its sophisticated new corporate identity just before Christmas.
